Paul A. Glatz, age 62, of Brewster, NY, formerly of Mahopac, NY, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in Demarest, NJ.
Paul was born June 22, 1954 in New Rochelle, NY, to Albert and Nicolina (Vaccaro) Glatz. He graduated from New Rochelle High School and honorably served in the U.S. Airforce from October 1973- June 1974.
On September 27, 2009, he married Lauretta Petriello in Southeast, NY.
Mr. Glatz was a fiber optic technician with Cablevision Lightpath Inc. in Elmsford, NY for 40 years. Paul loved history and restoring antique radios. He was a member of the
Pearl Radio Club (Putnam Emergency Antenna Repeater League).
Besides his wife Lauretta, Paul is survived by his son, Michael Glatz of Brewster, NY and his step daughter Louise Aliberti of Queensbury, NY, his 2 brothers; Robert Glatz (Susan) of Carmel, NY and Mark Glatz (Dawn) of Poughquaq, NY and his 2 sisters; Grace Kentley (Ronald) of Palm Desert, CA and Jackie Glatz of Delhi, NY. Also his 2 step grandchildren, Sadie and Stephanie Sassone. He was predeceased by his step son Domenick Aliberti in 2001.
