Peter John Nicita Obituary
Peter J. Nicita, age 75, passed away suddenly at his home in Brewster, NY on June 30, 2020.
Born on June 25, 1945 in Mt. Vernon, NY, son of the late Peter J. Nicita Sr., and Lillian Nicita (Silva).
After graduating from high school. Peter joined the Navy and was Honorably Discharged in 1965.
In 1997, Peter married Elleen Brandon in Orlando, Florida. They later moved to the Brewster area where they raised their family. Peter worked as a salesman for Horizon Foods located in Stamford, CT.
Peter is survived by his wife Elleen as well as sons; Daniel and Peter Nicita and a daughter Candace Bruno. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Alec, Madison, Justin, and Ryan Nicita. Also Gia and Ava Acheson. He was predeceased by a sister Carole Ann Telesco,and a granddaughter Julia Nicita.
On July 7, a visitation between the hours of 3 and 7pm will be held at Beecher Funeral Home in Brewster. A service will be held during the visitation. A private cremation will follow.
