Richard J. Schell

Richard J. Schell, of Putnam Lake, NY, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 59 years old.

Rich grew up in Hawthorne, NY. He moved to Patterson, NY where he lived the remainder of his life.

Rich worked for SUNY Purchase for 26 years until his retirement in 2011.

Rich was the second youngest of eight and was an animal lover who cherished his dogs.

He met Robin O’Loughlin and they shared a life together for 16 years. Robin was by his side when he passed away.
