Richard Tarracciano died at home in Brewster New York on August 11, 2018 at the age of 69 after a prolonged period of declining health. Richard was born on October 27, 1948 in Mount Kisco, NY and was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Josephine Tarracciano.
Richie is survived by his daughter Lisa Houle (Jamie) of Raymond, NH and brothers Tom (Kathy) of Williston, VT, John of Pawling, NY, Dan (Lisa) of Williston, VT and Dave (Maureen) of Suffield, CT. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Richie was a 1966 graduate of Fox Lane High School in Bedford, NY and was an accomplished cook, and happily shared his culinary talents with friends and family alike. He had a lifelong passion for music, having played the saxophone and singing in a band in high school. Richie had an extensive collection of all genres of music and attended countless concerts over the years. Richie was also a lifelong Dodgers fan, especially centerfielder Duke Snider, following them from their days in Brooklyn to Los Angeles. He also took pride in performing amateur magic tricks for his nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at St. Francis Cemetery in Mount Kisco, NY at 11:00am. Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY assisted the family with arrangements.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the many family and friends who cared for Richie over the last few years.
In honor of Richie, his family only asks that you eat the good food, laugh at the good jokes, listen to the good music and tell the good people around you that you love them
