Robert P. Rohrs of Carmel, NY, passed away at Danbury Hospital Center on Tuesday January 3, 2016. He was 69 years old.

Bobby was born February 26, 1947 in Mt. Vernon, NY son to the late George P. and Barbara (Kneissl) Rohrs. He was a graduate of John Jay High School in 1965.

Following graduation he started his 50 year career with Miggins Screw Products in Brewster, NY as a machinist. He enjoyed reading and cars, he had a love for eagles and wolves. His greatest passion in life was his family, he was always putting others before himself.

He is survived by his nephew Kurt and his wife Violet Rohrs, who he raised as his son, and their children Nicholas and Leah, three brothers; George and his wife Susan of Carlisle, PA, Richard and his wife Margaret of Carmel, NY, Geoffrey and his husband Keith of Central Valley, NY and one sister Barbara Primavera of Jefferson, NY. He was also blessed with 7 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be held 11am-1pm on Friday, January 6, 2016 at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY, interment will be private.
