Salvatore A. Della Cava, of Brewster, NY, died on January 10, 2020 in Brewster, NY.
Born on June 3, 1938 in Bronx, NY, son of the late Dominick and Anna (Foglia) Della Cava.
Salvatore married the love of his life Carol A. Termini on April 23, 1960 in Bronx, NY. Carol predeceased Salvatore in 2000.
Mr. Della Cava was the Principal Stationery Engineer at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in Bedford Hills, NY for over 20 years before his retirement. Salvatore enjoyed watching TV, drinking coffee and maintaining his yard.
Mr. Della Cava is survived by his daughters; Andrea Markham and her husband Joseph of Bernhards Bay, NY, Jana Rosalino of Brewster, NY, his 3 grandchildren; Daniel Markham, Adam Markham and Michael Rosalino, his brother Michael Della Cava and his wife Ann and his sister Jessie Guiliano. Salvatore is also survived by his longtime companion Dee Seftner. He was predeceased by his brother Louis Della Cava.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on January 14, at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence O’ Toole Cemetery, Brewster, NY. Visitation will be held on January 13, from 3pm-7pm at Beecher Funeral Home in Brewster.
