Thomas Ambrosino, formerly of Carmel, NY, died, peacefully at the Bailey Hospice Center in St, Augustine, Florida on January 31, 2020 with his loving wife at his side. He was 67 years old.<br>Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 28, 1953, he was one of nine children born to the late Joseph Ambrosino and late Daphne (Freeman) Ambrosino of Jackson Height, NY.<br>Married for 36 years, he is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Taggart) Ambrosino and their three children and their spouses James Ambrosino (Monica); Jessica Ambrosino Wakeman (Christian); Matthew Ambrosino (Tia), and grandchidren, Savannah, Thomas, Victoria and Rose. Also survived by his sisters Angela Adams, Janet LaCamera, Irene Gerberti, Mary Kempton, Susan Capul, Catherine Pernice, and brothers Joseph Ambrosino and James Ambrosino, along with loving sister in-laws, brother-in-laws, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.<br>Tom was a simple man with lots of love to give. If you were lucky, you even got a nickname. His interests were nature, history and anything mechanical. Mostly his life was all about his family and grandchildren.<br>Visitation will be at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY Friday, February 7th from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster, NY on Saturday, February 8th at 12:30. Interment will be private.<br>In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society: www.LLS.org<br>
