Thomas Raymond Fulling Obituary

Fulling, Thomas Raymond, age 76, a resident of Sebastian, FL, formerly of Brewster, NY, died at his home Tuesday, January 14, 2014.

Mr. Fulling was born February 25, 1937, in New York, NY, son of the late Thomas and Geraldine “Jerry” (Davitt) Fulling. He was raised in Brewster, NY, and also lived in Palenville, NY, and most recently in Sebastian, FL. Upon high school graduation he served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany for two years. He returned from the service to graduate from Western Connecticut State University.

Mr. Fulling was a local politician and a business owner in Putnam County. He was a Life Member of the Elks and also a member of the VFW, Chamber of Commerce and the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, Brewster, NY and St. Sebastian Church, Sebastian, FL.

Tom is survived by his companion of 24 years, Kay Ledwith; his brother Jim (Betsy) of Idaho; sisters Veronica (Robert) Carucci of Connecticut and Fran (Craig) Blomberg of Colorado; sons Dennis (Julie) of Connecticut and Russell (Carol) of Illinois; and six grandchildren: Mason, Alex, Martine, Patrick, Michael and Davis. He is also survived by Kay’s five daughters and a grandson.

Visitation will be held at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 25, 2014, at 1:00 PM at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, Brewster, NY.
