Val Myslim

Val V. Myslim, of Brewster, NY, died Friday November 15, 2019 at Putnam Hospital Center. He was 48 years old. For the past few years Val battled demons. He lost his battle and is now at peace.

He was born August 8, 1971 in Carmel, NY to Hatixhe Terry (Regep) Myslim and the late Avzi Q. (Artie) Myslim.

Val worked as a mason for Rossi & Sons in Brewster, NY. In his younger years Val enjoyed racing his ATV. He had the best time of his life when he was in the band playing his guitar. He enjoyed the blues, rock and southern rock. Val was a great son, awesome brother and an amazing uncle and great uncle.

He is survived his loving mother, his two sisters; Holly and her significant other Joe Schaniel and Merieme and her husband Billy Schaniel, his sister in law Mary Canniff Myslim, 8 nieces and nephews and one great niece with a great nephew on the way. He was predeceased by his father in 2001 and his brothers Bari in 2012 and Gani in 2014.

A funeral service will be held on Monday November 18, 2019 at 11 AM at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY. A private cremation will be held following the service. Interment of his ashes will be held at a later date at Raymond Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30pm-8:30pm on Sunday November 17th at the Beecher Funeral Home.

Val Loved his family so much and he will be missed by many friends and all his family.
