Vera S. Lundy, of North Salem, NY, died on April 23, 2020 after an 8 year battle with Alzheimer’s she passed away due to complications of coronavirus. She was 76 years old.

Born on August 25, 1943 in Savannah, GA daughter of the late Gerald and Vera (Davis) Stack. She was a 1961 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Katonah, NY.

In 1965 Vera married the love of her life Patrick Lundy, at St. Joseph’s Church in Croton Falls, NY. They settled in the Town of North Salem and raised four children.
Vera was an active parishioner of St. Josephs Church. She enjoyed knitting, quilting and gardening.
Mrs. Lundy is survived by a son Matthew (Stephanie) of North Reading, MA, and three daughters; Jennifer Cocuzzo(Charles) of North Salem, Stephanie Hill(Jeremy) of New Fairfield, CT, and Meghan Welch(Anson) of Wyckoff, NJ, her grandchildren Patrick, Caroline, Trevor and Mary Kate Lundy, Kaitlyn, Brianna, and Robert Cocuzzo, Morganne, Braydon, Ryder, and Travis Hill, and Faith, Genevieve, and Michelle Welch. She is also survived by her siblings; Deborah Stack of Burlington, Ct, Mary Catherine Stack Alexandria, VA and Robert O’Connor of Hopewell Jct, NY.
A celebration of life will take place with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph’s Church once ‘stay-at-home’ is lifted. Vera will be laid to rest this week with a private family service at St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery.
