Vincenza M. Blauvelt, of North Salem, NY, died peacefully with her family by her side on Monday December 4, 2017 at Northern Westchester Hospital. She was 68 years old. Mrs. Blauvelt was born on June 28, 1949 in Mt. Vernon, NY, daughter of the late John and Beatrice (Bartolini) Piscopo
.
On April 8, 1972 she married her love, Richard Blauvelt in Mt. Vernon and shortly thereafter they moved to North Salem, NY where they have lived ever since.
In addition to raising four children, Vincenza drove a school bus for 36 years, for the North Salem School District.

Vincenza is survived by her husband Richard, a daughter Jennifer (Jon) Bruno, and three sons; John (Stacy), Jason (Kendra) and Justin. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Johnny and Jordan Blauvelt and Jayla Bruno. Additionally, she is survived by a brother Anthony Piscopo and sisters Concetta Sears and Denise Rizzo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on December 7, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Church in Somers at 10am, followed by a burial at June Cemetery. On December 6, 2017 the family will be receiving family and friends At Beecher Funeral Home between the hours of 4pm and 8pm.
