Walter J Osnoe

Walter J. Osnoe Jr., age 85, of Carmel, NY, died peacefully on November 24, 2015 at Waterview Hills Nursing Home, Purdy’s, NY.
Walter was born on January 23, 1930 in Mt. Kisco, NY son to the late Walter J. and Helen (Sleeper) Osnoe. He graduated from Brewster High School in 1948. He honorably served in the US Army from 1951-1953. On July 4, 1953 he married the love of his life Dorothy M. Montesi in Danbury, CT.
Mr. Osnoe was a truck driver for Brewster Transit Mix for 20 years before retiring in 1992. Prior to working for Brewster Transit Mix he was a truck driver with Camarco in Mahopac, NY for 20 years.
Walter was a member of St. Lawrence O’ Toole Church in Brewster, NY. He was also a member of the Local 456 Union.
Besides his wife Dorothy, Walter is survived by his three children; Susan O’ Connor (Alex) of Mahopac, NY, David J. (Carol) Osnoe of Poughkeepsie, NY and Donna (Andy) O’Connor of Brewster, NY; his two siblings; Rita Molella of New Milford, CT and Robert Osnoe of New Fairfield, CT. Also his five grandchildren; Danielle, William, Andrew, Sarah and Devin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 28, 2015 11:30am at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, Brewster, NY. Interment following at St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery, Brewster, NY.
