William A. Macomber, Jr., of Oakdale, CT, formerly Stratford, CT, and Brewster, NY, died Monday, July 11, 2016 at Backus Hospital. He was 68 years old.

Mr. Macomber was born January 19, 1948 in White Plains, NY, son to William A. Sr. and Carol (Ekstorm) Macomber of Brewster, NY. He graduated from Brewster High School in 1966 and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Bridgeport. William honorably served in the Army National Guard.


Mr. Macomber is survived by his parents; his Children; Douglas Macomber of Bethel, CT, Candice Boyle of Monroe, CT and Kelly Scofield of Stratford, CT, 6 grandchildren and his siblings: Carl, Kyle, Dawn Macomber and Star Auer. He was predeceased by his brother Jon.
