Albert J. Ferrara, age 96, passed away peacefully on January 5th. He was a WWII veteran and was stationed on the USS Fletcher, a destroyer in the Pacific. He grew up in the Bronx, where he met his wife of over 5o years, and had a career as a produce manager before retiring. He enjoyed gardening his vegetables at the Bethel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and spending time with family and friends.


Albert is survived by his son, Nicholas and his wife Lydia; his daughter, Diane Eremita and her husband Michael; his brother Vito, and his grandchildren, Lucrecia, Albert, Venis, Joseph, Nicholas, Camille, Albert, Liza, Elisa, Nicole & Tiffany. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Marguerite; his son Albert; his daughters Anna Marie and RoseAnn; his parents, Cosmo and Rosina, and his siblings Mary, Tessie, Sal and Babe.

A Private Cremation will be held January 9th, 2021 at The All Souls Crematory. Memorial Visitation and Burial of the Ashes in Saint Raymond's Cemetery will be held at a later date.
