Curtin, Brother Kenneth F.M.S. 67, a member of the Marist Brothers of the Schools for 50 years, died February 3rd, 2013 at the Marist Brothers Residence at Mount Saint Michael Academy Bronx, New York with his family by his side after a 13 month courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Cornelius and Elizabeth Curtin. Brother Kenneth was the devoted brother of Nancy King (Evans) and Jane Taylor (Bill) and the loving uncle of Bill, his God Daughter and niece Erin and Brendan, all of Norwalk. He is survived by his Marist Community, his aunts Sylvia and Sarah Curtin, a host of cousins and his beloved Christopher Columbus Community in Miami FL. No one enjoyed their calling in life more than Brother Kenneth where he served as a teacher in NY and NJ, Retreat Director, Pastoral Associate and his last assignment as Admission Director in Miami FL. where he spent the last 20 years. Visitation is at Sisto Funeral Home on East Tremont Avenue, Bronx, NY on Wednesday, 2/6/13 from 2-4 and 7-9 and on Thursday from 2-4. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday evening February 7th, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Mount St. Michael Academy Chapel, Bronx NY.
