Carlos Ortiz Bronx, New York Obituary

Carlos Ortiz

Carlos Ortiz’s life began on October 27th 1958. He was born and raised in The Bronx by his parents Awildo and Ruth, with his two loving sisters. He devoted his life to his wife Angelica, his children Marlene, Carlitos, Natalie and Julie. He was the man in our family that you could always rely on especially when you needed him the most. He always knew how to bring a smile to everyone's face. The rock we depended on, the person that made sure all of us were taken care of. He always pushed people to be the best person that they could be. He was a man of habit, of routine and enjoyed life to the fullest in every moment. He was very accomplished in his profession, he started his career as a medical equipment specialist in April of 1991. He spent his time off taking everyone on an adventure to the beach at 5 am, ready to toast under the sun, teaching you how to surf and building tents when he took us all camping. He was always trying new things to eat and teaching himself how to play new instruments. Buying guitars for himself, growing in love with music. He introduced everyone to the things he loved and enjoyed. He had a standing roller skating night where he would show off his latest tricks and danced all night in them. His spiritual adventure to heaven above started on March 9,2021, the day he joined god to watch over us and take care of us from above. Carlos, your life was a blessing. Your memory is a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Carlos leaves behind his beloved parents, Awildo and Ruth: his wife, Angelica: his four children, Marlene, Carlitos, Natalie and Julie: his sisters, Miriam and Nancy: his eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren: his nieces and nephews: many family and friends.
