Carolyn R. Infante (nee Giuffre), 73, of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017. Born in the Bronx, she moved to Leesburg in 1993. She was an administrator in the NYC Public School System prior to her retirement. Carolyn was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church of Eustis, Triangle New Comers, Moose Lodge, AMVETS, Triangle Boat Club and the Mid Florida Lakes Mahjong club. She enjoyed needle work, stained glass, crocheting, knitting and helping friends and family. She is survived by her daughters, Judy Abramowitz and her husband Bruce of Cortlandt Manor, NY and Chris Lauterbach and her husband Danny of Monroe, NY; Siblings, Penny Dodge of Leesburg, FL,Raymond Dodge of Leesburg, FL and Linda Edwards of Barri, Ontario, Canada; Grandchildren, Brenda Abramowitz, Luke, Shane and Reese Lauterbach; Great Grandchild, Keira Price; and many step children including Richard Giuffre and Cathy Infante. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 5-8 PM at The Sisto Funeral Home, 3489 E Tremont Avenue, Bronx, NY 10465.
