Marc A. DeLuca Obituary

Marc DeLuca, 41 (Eastchester NY) sadly and suddenly passed away on December 31. Marc is survived by his wife, Cassandra and two beautiful daughters, Gabriella and Sienna; his parents Leonard and Catherine DeLuca; his brother Leonard DeLuca; mother-in-law Carol Brown and father-in-law Daniel Brown, sisters-in-law Janelle DeLuca, Courtney Wright and Erin Brown; brothers-in-law Daniel Brown and Brad Wright; nieces Gianna, Alexis and Teagan; nephews Daniel and Giancarlo; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins; along with countless friends.  He was beloved by all who knew him. Marc grew up in the Throgs Neck section of the Bronx, where his roots run deep and his ties continue to this day. A great athlete, he went on to graduate from Mount Saint Michael Academy in 1997, where he was a standout baseball and hockey player. He graduated from Pace University in 2002, where he captained the baseball team and continued to excel on the field. Marc later earned his Master's Degree in Physical Education from Manhattanville College. Marc went on to teach and coach baseball at St. Raymond High School, where his impact on so many young men will be felt for many years to come.  His exceptional coaching career was highlighted by the 2013 CHSAA City Championship, but more importantly by the guidance, leadership and relationships he built with his students and players.  Marc had a huge heart and always cared about others.  His family was the most important thing in his life. He made it a point to stay in contact and show his love and care for everyone that he could. Marc would light up a room and always make us laugh.  He was always there for those that needed him most. Marc was an amazing father, husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, teammate, teacher, and coach who is loved and will be deeply missed by all. Please do not send flowers at this time.
