Mario M. D’Agostino passed away June 14th 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born October 9th 1980 in the Bronx, NY where he resided with great passion. Mario cared deeply about his community, being born and raised in The Bronx. He owned and managed Muscle Maker Grill and a coffee shop in Throgs Neck, The Miles Coffee Bar, which became a home for local artists and residents to converse or meet over a cup of coffee. Music was one of Mario’s favorite things, he often bonded with people over artists, which would then eventually play over speakers at the cafe. This was his home, his passion and a place you’d often see his love on full display. Every time you stepped inside, you felt that way. He recently became a partner at 51st Street Bakery and Cafe in Long Island City, NY where he continued to bring The Miles ' vision to another borough of the city he loved so much. Mario lived his life to the fullest during his time here. He made those around him feel wrapped in his love and generosity. He was a kind spirit, always smiling while working tirelessly. While he’ll be greatly missed, we’ll always remember his time here with us and we’ll continue to carry on his mission. Predeceased by his father, Salvatore D’Agostino. Survived by his loving wife Nicole Angelico, Adoring Mother Maria D’Agostino. Loving brothers, Giustino D’Agostino and Anthony and Lisa D’Agostino. Loving family Andrea and Nicholas Angelico, Anthony and Tina Angelico. And nieces and nephews that he loved very much, Salvatore and Valentina D’Agostino, Luciana and Nicholas Angelico. Private Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 2-5 PM. A Private Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Saint Gregory the Great Church, Harrison NY. Private Entombment will follow at Saint Raymond's Cemetery.
