Gubala, Frank J. (American Flag) - March 25, 2020 - Beloved husband of Joyce M. (nee Carpenter) Gubala. Devoted father of Julie (Andrew) Green and Jeffrey (Brenna) Gubala. Loving grandfather of Jocelyn, Nathan, Lily and Seamus. Dear brother of John Gubala. Brother in law of Judy Sealander, Ralph (Pam) Carpenter and Jean (Richard) Waldmiller. Also survived by nieces and nephews.Frank was a US Army veteran, 9th Infantry 3rd/ 47th, recipient of 2 Purple Heart Medals, Combat Infantrymen's Badge. Member of VVA Chapter 77, VFW Post 313 and other military organizations. He was a member of St. Andrew's Holy Name Society. An avid photographer and captured memories of many couples on their wedding day and many students that played on sports teams. He also loved nature photography.Due to the COVID 19 Precautions, a Memorial Mass will be held at a later date to be announced. Donations may be made in his honor to Vietnam Veterans, Chapter 77.
