Glenn Ivan Harruff Obituary

Glenn Ivan Harruff (Harry), 70 years old, of Ballantine, Montana died on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Billings Clinic of an aorta aneurysm. Glenn was born July 30, 1946 at Mammoth Hot Springs, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles Morris and Sara Belle Harruff, and a brother Dennis Harruff.

Glenn is survived by brother Gaylord L. Harruff and sister-in-law Crystal C. Harruff, a half-sister Kathrine Guy, and half brother Emerson Harruff, one son, Chance Glenn Harruff; grandchildren, Coty Allen Weakly, Courtney Ann Harruff, Hadley Sarah Harruff and Hazin Riggin Harruff, nieces, Coleen Steffen and Michelle Fawcett, and a nephew Casey Harruff.

His adopted family was Monte and Debbie Dvorak and daughters Trine, Justine and Melisha Dvorak. Glenn was married to Teddy Roberts and they had a son Chance Harruff. They divorced and Teddy preceded Glenn in death.

Glenn graduated from Huntley Project High School as Valedictorian in 1964. He then went to Montana State University and graduated with Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture. He worked as a successful realtor for many years before he was employed by the USDA. He received numerous merit, commendations and cash awards during this career. He retired from the USDA in 2008.

Glenn enjoyed horse racing, joking and visiting friends.

Services are scheduled for Monday, July 31, 2017 at 3:00 pm, at Smith Downtown Chapel in Billings with interment at the Pleasantview Cemetery in Ballantine. Condolences may be left for the family at smithfuneralchapels.com.
