Diana Dell’Accio passed away on February 22, 2019. Diana was a longtime resident of Mt. Vernon, NY. She was born on February 18, 1929 to the late Joseph Doria and Luisa Doria (Devenditis). In addition to her parents, Diana is predeceased by her brother Anthony (Sonny) Doria and her husband Saverio (Sonny) Dell’Accio. Diana and her late husband Sonny, came to know one another as young adults growing up in the Bronx, NY. Life would take Sonny and Diana on different paths until they reconnected after almost 60 years apart. Diana would become a bride for the first time at the young age of 75. Diana is survived by cousins that will miss her dearly and will be remembered for her sense of humor, laughter and love of family and friends. The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER on Saturday - March 2, 2019 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. A prayer service will be held on Saturday - March 2, 2019 at 11:00 am at Westchester Funeral Home, Inc., Eastchester. Interment to immediately follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Diana's memory to the: American Cancer Society Westchester Division - 2 Lyon Place White Plains, NY 10601.
