Fredrick Stephen “Steve” Arndt, 76, of Fayetteville died at home on December 13, 2019. He was born on July 19, 1943 in Gary, Indiana. Steve has lived and worked in New York for the past 45 years, first as Branch Manager for Reuben H. Donnelley Corp. and later for the former Syracuse Supply Co., selling construction equipment, and more recently sold real estate. Steve is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Jennifer Foley; stepsons, Brian and Scott DeMonte; sister Nancy Hardesty; as well as nephews, Mike, Hank and Trey Hardesty. Steve also leaves behind eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. The service will follow the calling hour. He will be laid to rest in Indiana.
