Gregg D'Angelico Obituary

Fort Edward Gregg A. D’Angelico, 58, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, February 17, 2017. Born on July 21, 1958, in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late, Guy and Gloria (Martin) D’Angelico. Gregg attended Hudson Falls High School. After high school Gregg worked at LaPan’s Foundry, Nibco Foundry and for the Town of Fort Edward Highway Department until his illness. He married the love of his life, Lori (LaPan) D’Angelico, on September 18, 1982, she was his wife and companion for 45 years. His hobbies included boating, riding his ATV’s and driving his 1975 Plymouth Roadrunner. Gregg was a master machine mechanic and could repair anything. He enjoyed his company with the True Order Motorcycle Club and thanks them for their assistance. He was available to help anyone in need and a hard worker. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Gary D’Angelico; and a brother-in-law, Donald LaPan. In addition to his wife, left to cherish his memory is Lori’s parents, Lester and Janice LaPan; his son, Shawn D’Angelico, who was by his side through the hard times; and special aunts, Dorothy Sottile and Laura Smith; and Gregg’s three brothers and their wives and families. A special thanks to Dr. Stoutenburg and his staff at C.R. Wood Cancer Center in Glens Falls and to the people of Community Hospice of Saratoga and Washington County whose care and passion was a tremendous help. A memorial mass will be conducted on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 2pm at St. Joseph’s Church, 164 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in Gregg’s name can be made to C.R.
