FORT EDWARD


Ronald J. Zollinger Jr., 55, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Albany Medical Center.


Born July 17, 1961 in Glens Falls, NY, he was the son of SusanJane (Cimo) Zollinger and the late Ronald J. Zollinger Sr.


Ronald graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in Schenectady, NY. From a very young age he loved to cook, especially at his fish fry, Anchors. He was a hard worker all his life, and loved to make people laugh. He was a Miami Dolphins fan and particularly enjoyed NASCAR. Most of all, Ron will be remembered for being a loving father and his complete devotion to his children.


In addition to his father, Ron was predeceased by his uncle Ronald J. Cimo, his aunt Linda G. Cimo, and special friend and cousin William J. Cimo.


Left to cherish his memory are his mother SusanJane Zollinger, his daughter Sadie Mae Zollinger, his son Sam Zollinger and their mother Carol Sims, his brother Daniel J. Zollinger and his wife Karen, his special niece Danielle R. Zollinger, and his uncles; Andrew Jerry Cimo, William F. Cimo, and Gary Zollinger and his wife Jeannette, and many cousins.


Friends may call from 10-11:30am on Thursday March 2, 2017 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828.


A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00pm following calling hours at St. Joseph’s Church, 164 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY.


Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.


The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Pantalone family for their love and support throughout the years and throughout Ron’s illness.
