Mildred St. Onge

Mildred M.(Lattimore) St. Onge, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 8 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vermont, after a short illness. She resided on North Shore Road at Babcock Lake. Mildred “Sissy” was born on November 26, 1926 in Cohoes, New York, daughter of the late Paul and Mildred T. (Wagner) Lattimore. She was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She raised her family in Schaghticoke, moving later to Clifton Park and then Bennington, Vt. She enjoyed Christmas and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her sons Allen (Kathy) St. Onge, Wilfred Jr. (Brenda) St. Onge and Richard (Amy) St. Onge, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by siblings Beverly (George) Hanson, Crawford (Doris) Lattimore. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Wilfred, who passed away on July 21, 1911, her beloved daughter Bonnie Lee Sysol, son-in-law Richard Sysol and siblings Paul (Bertha) Lattimore and George Delores) Lattimore. Respecting Millie's wishes, calling hours will not be held. A private interment will take place at the Gerald B.H. Solomon/Saratoga National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bennington Project Independence through the funeral home.
