HUDSON – Jacob Cornelius Robinson, 83, died on April 27, 2017 at Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He previously lived in Fishkill and Cape Coral, FL. Born in Poughkeepsie on June 28, 1933, he was the son of the late Jacob and Helen (Howard) Robinson. Jacob was a 1951 graduate of Arlington High School, and then proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Jacob retired in 1994 from IBEW Local Union 3 in Long Island where he had been an electrician for 38 years. He enjoyed woodworking and operating as WM25 on amateur radio. Most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. On July 25, 1953 in Lagrangeville, Jacob married Patricia (Patrick) Robinson. His wife of 63 years survives at home. He is also survived by his children and their spouses, Deborah and Bill Albrecht of Lansing, IL, Shawn and George Silkworth of Red Hook, and Daniel and Debbie Robinson of Naples, FL; and his grandchildren, John Fagan, Daniel Albrecht, and David Albrecht.
