CARMEL – Mark E. Trabakino, 59, died on October 5, 2018 at Putnam Hospital Center. He previously lived in White Plains. Born in White Plains on November 23, 1958, Mark was the son of the late Salvatore W. and Jane E. (Kellett) Trabakino. He received his Master’s Degree in Special Education from the College of New Rochelle. Mark had been a Special Education Teacher for the past 19 years at Putnam Valley High School. On July 2, 2005 in Bethel, CT, he married Diane (May) Trabakino who survives at home. He is also survived by his siblings, Bill Trabakino and his wife Amy of Stamford, CT, Sharon Senno and her husband Richard of Fishkill, David Trabakino of Tarrytown, and Brian Trabakino of Spokane, WA; his stepchildren, Melissa Carofano, P.J. Carofano, and Gabrielle Carofono; his step grandson, Luca Scafida; his niece and nephews, Micaela and Daniel Senno and Carter Trabakino; and many other loving relatives and friends. Mark will be remembered as an avid deer hunter who was also a devoted fan of the NY Yankees. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
