Houston Ketter , Sr.

Houston ketter Sr. Was Born on august 25, 1925 In hartsville South Carolina to the late Meta franklin ketter and Martin ketter jr. Houston had two sisters his eldest was Georgia ketter Etheridge then para lee ketter Kelly Houston had one brother Charlie ketter Houston's father Martin ketter Jr. taught him bricklaying at a very young age as well as driving before key start In the years of the 1940's he then relocated to New York City after his brother to look for work while He lived with his sister. Houston worked as a brick layer for over 30 Years traveling all over America and Canada putting up buildings Houston also help start the foundation brick work for many universities and schools including York college and duke university ext... Houston also drove a taxi on the side. Although Houston only completed high school he was a math wizard and love to read .. Houston had several hobbies including crosswords puzzles etc. what he loved the most was fishing and the piano he would fish every chance he gets , he even brought a piano for home Houston also loved to watch sports he watched boxing and was a big fan of the New York mets. In his early years set his eyes on a beautiful young lady named Helen jones and together they would build a dynasty.. as years passed houston and and Helen got married and moved to Harlem New York during the time of marriage Houston and Helen had three boys Houston ketter jr. ,Michael Ketter ,and Barry ketter.. then Houston and Helen decided to move to queens in the early 70's.where he lived out the rest of his days . Houston was a blessed man to reach the age of 91 which made him the last and only sibling left.. Houston sons: Houston Ketter jr./Barry ketter /Michael Ketter /adopted son kaheem ketter Daughter in law: Deborah Cason Hanford Grandchildren: Khalila ketter/Houstonketter3rd /Falona ketter/Robin Hanford /Fareeda white /Willie hanford 17Great grandchildren 10Great great grandchildren
