Edward Daniels Jamaica, New York Obituary

Edward Daniels

On April 22, 2020, Edward J. Daniels was home to be with the Lord. It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of Ed, a dedicated father, husband, brother and friend. Born on January 22nd , 1967 to James and Jannie Daniels, he was the youngest of five siblings; Robert, June, Denise and Angela. He was happily married for 21 years to his wife Heather Ridley. Residing in their New York home, they raised together four beautiful children; Genesis, Madison, Jorell, and Saniya. Ed loved spending time with his family and friends; whether he was at a restaurant dining with his kids, off to the park running his RC boats and cars with his nephew Dallah and friends, or simply just staying home to watch movies on the couch with his family. With his joyous laughter and booming voice, Ed will be missed by those who knew him, as he lifted the spirits of all those fortunate enough to be graced with his presence. Anyone who knew Ed recognized his kind spirit and generosity, as he was willing to lend a helping hand to all who needed. He was known to bring people together with his captivating story-telling and remarkable sense of humor. Hard-working and good natured, Ed will fondly be remembered and missed by all. Eddie’s impact is far greater than he could have ever known, his death being a massive loss to his family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. As heaven has gained an angel, we have lost a cherished friend and a truly great man.
