Vincent Murano Kings Park, New York Obituary

Vincent Murano

Vincent (“Vinny”) Murano, who lived in Kings Park, NY, for 53 years, was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He passed away on April 22, 2021, at age 79. Vincent was born in Brooklyn to John and Rose Murano on April 16, 1942. He loved Jesus and God’s great gift of life. Vincent adored both of his grandmothers who lived close to each other in Brooklyn. Early in life, he lived with one of them. He moved to Farmingdale at age nine, where he met his best friends whom he loved dearly up until his passing. By the age of 14, Vinny was an accomplished trumpet player. Vincent proudly served our country in the Air Force. He later retired as an NYPD first grade detective. Vinny was the author of three books and loved golf. Vincent is survived by his wife Adrienne, whom he met at age 19. They were married for over 55 years, with two children, Corinne Pankovcin, her husband Andrew and John Murano, and his wife Josephine, and four wonderful grandsons. Vinny considered his beautiful family to be his most treasured accomplishment. Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org) or Smile Train(www.smiletrain.org).
