Barbara J. Withers

Barbara J. Learo Withers, 72, of Mattie Street, Auburn, died Friday, September 30, 2011, at University Hospital, Syracuse, following an extended illness. Mrs. Withers was an Auburn native, the daughter of the late Frank and Pearl Jetty Learo. She has resided in the Auburn area most of her life. She is survived by her husband William Withers, her son Craig A. Withers and his wife Kath of Elbridge, daughters Denise Marie Brewster, her husband David, and their son Logan of Wolcott, and Yvonne Rae Cook, her husband Richard and their son Josiah Harper of Live Oak, FL, her sister Jean Larsen and brother Robert Learo, both of Seneca Falls, and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call on the family Thursday, October 6, from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Plis Funeral Home, 220 State St., Auburn. A memorial service for Barbara will be conducted Saturday, October 15, at 2 P.M. at the Auburn Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5480 Willowbrook Road, Auburn.
