Bob B. Nelson, 57, of Owasco (The Hamlet) passed away August 9, 2014 at Auburn Community Hospital. Born in Auburn on February 2, 1957, he was an avid sportsman, and was a man who adored his family and friends. Bob is survived by his mother Edith Nelson of Auburn; son Douglas E. Nelson of Skaneateles; a sister Kathy (Henry) Hawley of Marcellus; a brother Gene Nelson of Weedsport and 3 grandchildren Mason, Karleigh and Baylee Nelson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his father Earl Nelson Jr., a sister Sandy Schmieder and a brother Randy Nelson.
