Lewis McGuinness Marcellus, New York Obituary

Lewis McGuinness

Lewis McGuinness III, passed away Tuesday November 29th unexpectedly. Lewis was a resident of Clay, NY and lived much of his short life in Oneida, NY. Lewis was a generous person who was always the first one to lend a hand and go the extra step to help out. He had an amazing love and connection with his Great Grandma’s, whom he is now home with. He was a phenomenal artist and created many extraordinary drawings that conveyed life and character. Lewis had a love for all animals as did the animals for him. Lewis also loved his annual camping trip to Allegany State Park with family and friends. He was always there with a sly smile and one liners to make you laugh. Lewis’ heart, kindness, and soul will leave a void on this earth, which he left much too soon. Lewis is predeceased by his Great Grandmothers: Rosemary Nash and Zilpha Lambert; Grandfather Fred Connell. Lewis is survived by his Loving mother Laurie McGuinness; Adoring siblings Zachary, Brooke, James and Dachia; Proud Aunts Carol (Peter) Dristle and Kimberly (Ken) Bullock and Uncle James DeMore; Caring grandparents James (Denise) MacDowell and Barbara Connell; His two furkids Dexter and Kronix. As well as many other devoted family members. Calling hours will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday December 14, at the Plis Funeral Home, 33 North St., Marcellus. Private services and burial will be in the spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to CNY SPCA , 5878 E. Molloy Rd, Syracuse, NY 13088
