Margaret D. Amidon, 93, of LaGrange, GA formerly of Marcellus, NY died November 19, 2015 in LaGrange. She was born June 12, 1922 in Marcellus, NY daughter of Lot and Mable (Coombs) Leigh. Besides her parents and siblings she is predeceased by husband Earl H. Amidon, Sr., son Michael H. Amidon, and daughters Margaret A. (Susie) Amidon and Carol A. Schmeider. Left to cherish her memory are sons Earl Amidon, Jr., Ronald (Sandra) Amidon, Mitchell (Bonnie) Amidon, John (Melody) Amidon, and Kevin Amidon and daughters Ella Sadowski, Linda (Pete) Foster, Paula Leonard, Betty Jo Amidon, Cindy Lou (Tom) Barber, and Roxann Quintana. She was Grandma, Great Grandma, Great-Great Grandma, Aunt Margaret and friend to countless and will be deeply missed by all. Funeral services are scheduled at Plis Funeral Home, 33 North Street, Marcellus, NY on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be Friday, November 27 at 4:00 – 7:00 and one hour prior to funeral services. Burial will follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Navarino, NY.
