Marion Ossit, 90, of Marcellus passed away Friday March 28, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Solon, NY, he became a farmer, then a general contractor for over 50 years. Marion was the codes office for the town of Marcellus for 15 years and the Village of Marcellus for a short time. He was predeceased by his wife Mary B. Ossit in 2007. Marion is survived by his son Michael (Mary Jane) Ossit of Marcellus; grandson Michael (Stacey) Ossit, granddaughter Kristy (Tyler) Kudlick, great grandchildren Michael and Morghan Lynn Ossit and Arianna Kudlick. The Ossit family would like to express a special thank you to Shirlene "Toad" Thompson, who starred as a health aid to Marion and became a big part of the family's heart for what she did for him. Our family will always be grateful for the care, dedication, and time that she spent with our family Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday April 1 at the Marcellus United Methodist Church. Friends may call on the family from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the church 1 Slocombe Ave., Marcellus.
