Shannon Parvel
Shannon L. Parvel, 46 of Marcellus, passed away Tuesday March 22, 2016 at Crouse Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in Syracuse, was a 1988 graduate of Marcellus Central Schools and also graduated from Cayuga Community College. She was a receptionist for the Reagan Agency in Marcellus, where she greeted everyone with a warm and loving smile. She leaves behind her loving husband Todd; cherished mother Peg and Tom Gilmour, and father Frederick Steavens. She also is survived by her in-laws Richard and Brenda Parvel, uncle Stuart (Malene) Fralick, little sisters Jamie and Emily Thompson and several cousins. A celebration of Shannon's life will be held from 2-5 p.m. Saturday March 26 at the Ralph Share American Legion Post, 13 E. Main St., Marcellus.
