Suzette Elizabeth Geary, 64, of Auburn, died Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Chase Memorial Nursing Home, New Berlin, NY, following an extended battle with Parkinson's disease. Suzette was born June 16, 1949 to the late Donald and Mary Wilbur Geary. She was a life resident of the Auburn area. She was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1967, and graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts from State University at Albany. Suzette loved animals, especially her cats, and enjoyed bowling and cosmetology. Her children were her pride and joy. She leaves behind her children, Geary (Kim) Gioia and Gillian Gioia of Auburn, and Giancarlo Gioia of Buffalo, her granddaughter Leah Elizabeth Gioia, sister-in-law Elizabeth West, a niece and nephew, great nieces and nephews, and her former husband Phillip Gioia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 A.M. Saturday in St. Alphonsus Church. Entombment will be in St. Joseph's Mausoleum. Read Suzette Geary's Obituary and Guestbook.
