Thomas H. "Tommy" Martens, 65, of Syracuse, passed away on April 21, 2015. He was born October 29, 1949 to John and Dorothy Martens. Thomas was formerly employed by Carrier Corp. for over 30 years. He is survived by brothers John Martens of Marcellus, NY and Samuel Martens of Pleasant Prairie, WI. He also leaves behind his two daughters, six grandchildren, many nephews and a niece, all whom he loved dearly; and his partner Nancy Jackson, of Syracuse. He was predeceased by his father John in 1992, mother Dorothy in 2010 and his beloved brother Arthur in 2006. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday April 29, at the Plis Funeral Home, 33 North St., Marcellus. There will be no calling hours.
