William (Bill) Malanowski, formerly of Rochester, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Mike Conley Hospice in Clermont, FL. Bill was born April 24, 1942 in Salamanca, NY, the son of the late Walter and Anna Budzinski. He moved to Rochester in 1960, graduated from Rochester Business Institute, and attended RIT's School of Business Administration. He retired from JP Morgan Chase in 1995 following 33 years of service. For 25 years he also operated an accounting and tax service. Bill suffered a heart attack at Greece Ridge Mall in 2000 that received much media attention. A post- operative stroke left him with right side paralysis and loss of communication skills. Bill and his wife Carol moved to Clermont, FL, after 39 years in Rochester. Bill was able to get around his community using his golf cart and scooter. He developed a love for photography, taking pictures of family, the community, flowers, and his special place, Disney World. He enjoyed Tampa Bay baseball, but remained a forever fan of the Buffalo Bills and Syracuse basketball. He also loved music, especially polka music, listening faithfully to the Saturday Polka Program from Rochester. He is survived by his wife, the former Carol Anne Piorun, with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2014, his children William Jr. "J.R." (Sharon) of Clemmons, NC, Tiffany (Terrance) Smith and Todd (Susan Hubbard DVM) all of Rochester, and grandchildren Katelyn Malanowski, Justin and Jordyn Smith, Sarah, Madison, Emily and Ryan Malanowski. A memorial mass will be celebrated Monday, August 10, 2015 at 10 A.M. in St. Mark's Church, 54 Kuhn Road, Rochester, 14612.
