<p>JANE A. CHARLESTON</p><p><br></p><p>MASSENA- Mrs. Jane A. Charleston, 80, formerly of 52 Urban Drive, passed away Friday morning, August 31, 2017 at the St. Regis Nursing Home where she had been residing for the past 3 years.</p><p>Jane was born on June 10, 1937 in Massena, the daughter of the late Domenick and Emma Pellegrino Trombino and attended schools in Massena. She married Roderick D. Charleston on June 11, 1966 at the Church of Sacred Heart with Father Leduc officiating. </p><p><br></p><p>After graduating from Massena Central High School, Jane went to work for Alcoa, retiring following 40 years of employment. She was a member of the American Legion Post 79.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Charleston and her companion, Seth Moyer of Massena; her grandson, Jordan Wheeler and companion Mckenzie Russel of Massena; her great-granddaughter JemmaMae Wheeler of Massena; her sister Patricia Nadeau and brother Joseph (Susan) Trombino of Massena; and many nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Rod on May 4, 2015, her parents, and her brothers, Domenick, who passed away in infancy and Anthony Trombino, who passed on April 5, 2013.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends may call at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, Saturday from 10AM-12:30PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 1:00 PM.
