JORDAN P. MARKELL

MASSENA – Mr. Jordan P. Markell, 31, of 6 Kennedy Court, tragically passed away Saturday afternoon, April 8, 2017 at his home.

Jordan was born November 14, 1985 in Massena, the son of Gregory and Debra Dufresne Markell and was a graduate of Massena High School. He was recently working for Henophy Trucking and John and Sue Mereau.

Jordan cherished the time he spent outdoors, fishing and boating, wakeboarding, logging, and riding his motorcycle were just some of the hobbies that he truly enjoyed. He was a jack of all trades and loved anything with a motor on it. Jordan loved his family and valued the time he was able to spend visiting with his brothers and sisters.

Jordan is survived by his mother and step-father, Debbie and Jack Fuehring; his father and step-mother, Greg and Nancy Markell, all of Massena; his siblings, Jennifer and Brent Barney of Massena; Megan and Derek Nabozny of Norwalk, CT; and Nate and Becky Markell and their children, Olivia and Owen, of Morrisville, NC; his step-brothers, Eric and Jadi Fuehring and their children, Alex and Lana of Augusta, GA; and Casey and Andria Fields of Massena. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Theresa Dufresne of Massena; and his paternal grandmother, Isabella Markell of Massena; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may call Wednesday2-4:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM with Rev. Mark Reilly, officiating.
