Dover Plains – Susan Lee Pardee, 70, a nineteen year resident of Dover Plains, NY formerly of Millbrook and Pleasant Valley, NY died peacefully on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Susan worked as a health care aide at Cardinal Hayes Home for Children in Millbrook, NY for nearly thirty years prior to her retirement. Born January 1, 1949 in Poughkeepsie, NY she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Julia (Tackas) Pardee. Susan was a graduate of Arlington High School and served as a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie for many years. She was also a longtime parishioner of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Pleasant Valley. Her kind heart and caring way will be dearly missed by many. Susan is survived by her dear brother, Arthur Pardee of Dover Plains, NY and several friends. There are no calling hours. Funeral services and burial will be private.
