Jason J. Whitton On February 17, 2018, Jason J. Whitton, “Whitti”, was called home peacefully, surrounded by love. Jason was born at Nyack Hospital on September 25, 1984 and lived in Valley Cottage, New York. Jason is survived by his Father, Kenneth Whitton (Marie) and Mother, Greta Gholston, his devoted wife, Jahna Perry-Whitton, Inayah, Tahj and the light of his life, Kya. He is also survived by his Brothers, Kyle, Cameron and Aaron, Grandson, Tahj Jr. “Nooches”, Grandfather Richard, Grandmother Dorothy and Mother-in-Love, Karen Williams and a host of family and friends. Jason graduated from Monroe Woodbury High School in 2001, where he had a strong passion and superior talent for baseball and continued playing into adulthood. He was a barber by trade, graduating from the American Barber Institute and he also was an avid fisherman. He loved exploring the world, traveling to many different Islands, Countries and Continents, learning and partaking in the local customs of each place he visited. With all his heart, Jason loved his family and friends, he was a devoted husband, committed father, affectionate Duh-Da, and loving son. Jason was adored by many and will be greatly missed by all. Jason loved without condition. Talked without bad intention. Gave without any reason. And most of all, cared for people without any expectation. A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 10:00 am–12:00 pm at Living Christ Church, 151 South Broadway, South Nyack, New York. Immediately followed will be his Home Going Service.
