Yvonne S. Smith of Chestnut Ridge, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 4, 2017. Born in Nyack, NY on December 31, 1919 to John & Hattie Collins. She is predeceased by her husband Lawrence E. Smith Sr. in 1985, a step-son Roger L. Smith, he died in 2016. She is also predeceased by 6 sisters and 1 brother. Yvonne is survived by her son Lawrence E. Smith Jr. of Piermont, NY, a daughter Pamela J. Smith of Chestnut Ridge, NY, daughter in law Darlene Smith of Raymond, WA, 4 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and 2 great grandsons. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, 19 Jefferson St, Nyack, NY on Saturday, September 16 at 11:00am with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory can be made to the Tolstoy Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 100 Lake Road, Valley Cottage, NY 10989.Obituary
