Spinney, Christine Marie, age 22, of Poughkeepsie, NY, formerly of Patterson, NY died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at home. Christine was born May6 30, 1991 in Carmel, NY to Stacie (Ricciardi) Spinney of Patterson, NY and Richard Emerson Spinney, Jr. She attended Carmel High School, Carmel, NY. Christine was a dietary aid at Putnam Ridge Nursing Home in Brewster, NY. She attended the Patterson Community Church and was a member of the youth group; she attended work camp and missions with the youth group. She was an avid candy crusher. Christine was a loving spirit, daughter, granddaughter, sister, mother, niece and friend. She filled a room with smiles and loved her son Brandon unconditionally. She will be missed by all who knew her and will be remembered with love. Besides her mother Stacie and son Brandon, Christine is survived by her sister Kalah Spinney and her brother Tyler Spinney, her maternal grandparents Stephen and Rita ‘Gay’(Scaperotti) Ricciardi and her paternal grandparents Francis and Irene Spinney, and her great grandmother Freida Ricciardi. Her Aunts and Uncles: Jessica & John Durso, Amanda & Dwyght Simpson, Stephen Ricciardi, Francis Herrington and Joan Gatto; her great Aunts & Uncles: Julie & Gary Stephenson, Sandra & Jeff Purdy, David & Michelle Scaperotti, John Scaperotti, and Victor & Regina Scaperotti; cousins: Corri & Andrea Stephenson, Justin & Jared Durso, Elysha & Davian Simpson and many other family and loved ones. She was pre-deceased by a great uncle Ralph Scaperotti and her grandfather Richard E. Spinney Sr. A funeral service will be held Sunday, October 20, 2013 11:00 AM at the Patterson Community Church, Route 311, Patterson. A private cremation will follow.
