Barbara Jacobson

JACOBSON Barbara Louise Gennerich 93, of Somers, NY, passed away on September 18, 2020. She is survived by her husband, Dale Gordon Jacobson and her daughters, Susan Jacobson Mattson (Tom) and Ann Jacobson Butera (Larry Rubin), grandchildren Christopher Mattson, Kelsey and Austin Butera. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Don Jacobson, and her nieces, Chris Jacobson Snider (Steve), Cindy Jacobson Roberts (John), Eric Jacobson, Nancy Dinovelli (Dan), and Patricia Russo (Michael). She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Gennerich Cusack and her nieces, Kathy Cusack and Jackie Cusack, and her sister and brother-in-law, Ginny and Arvid (Jake) Jacobson. She grew up in White Plains, NY and attended Southern Seminary secretarial school. She married Dale in 1950 and they spent their child rearing years in Chappaqua, NY. They were living in Heritage Hills in Somers, NY at the time of her death. Cremation was performed through the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Bedford Road, in Pleasantville, NY 10570. A memorial service with family will be performed in the future. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Audubon Society at audubon.org would be appreciated.
