<p>PARISHVILLE – Ms. June Rose Adams Christy, 100, a longtime resident of Parishville, peacefully passed away Saturday evening at Fred and Harriet Taylor Health Care in Bath, New York, where she had been a resident since April 2016. She had been residing with her step-daughter, Donna Bump in Prattsburgh for many years.</p><p><br></p><p>June was born on June 26, 1917 in Parishville, the daughter of the late John W. and Blanch Adams Christy and attended local rural schools. June cleaned home for various families in the area, including the Palmer and Obert Family. She also had a home laundry service for many years. She had a great passion for baking, truly enjoyed reading Tru-Story and watching and listening to Dean Martin.</p><p><br></p><p>June is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Charles Damron of Texas and many nieces and nephews. June was a chosen mother to many in the community, including Joyce Bump and her children, Vickie, Cheryl, Valerie, Donna, Floyd and Randy Bump, as well as Donna’s daughters, Amanda and Ashley Bump, who all survive her except Valerie who passed away on July 14th. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by three sisters, Charlotte McNeil, Beverly Miller, and Laura Barrett. </p><p><br></p><p>Friends may call Thursday from 12-2:00 PM at the Donaldson-Seymour Funeral Home, Potsdam where funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Linda Dunning, officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Parishville.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
