Fred J. Remick

Fred J. Remick, Jr., age 71, of Rome, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2017 at Upstate Medical Center. Fred was born in Rome on August 22, 1945 to Fred, Sr. and Mary Zakala Remick. He was a graduate of Saint Aloysius Academy and Utica College. On October 28, 1967, he was united in marriage to the former Ethel R. Madsen at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Rome. Fred was a cost accountant and later the Data Processing Manager for Pettibone Corp. from 1966 to 1983. In 2003 he began driving a school bus for the Rome City School District. He looked forward to every day driving his "special Kids" to school and taking the RFA Band to competitions.
