Korry A. Murphy, age 67, of Rome, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2017. He was born October 28, 1949, and graduated from Holland Patent Central School. He worked for many years at the Rite Aid Distribution Center and later for Morris Security Systems. Korry was a sports and music enthusiast. He was an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed “oldies” music, especially the music of Roy Orbison. He also enjoyed Friday fish-fries at Eddie’s Paramount Diner. Korry is survived by his longtime companion, Gail Green; and many good friends. Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours.
